The Ministry of Health and Population announced, this Monday, that 471 coronavirus recuperators have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical attention and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, with which the total of those who recover from the virus. to 130,107 cases to date.
Dr Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesperson for the ministry, said that 541 new cases were registered that tested positive for virus laboratory tests, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and Examination procedures that the ministry conducts in accordance with the World Health Organization guidelines, which point to the death of 44 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid claimed that the total number that was recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of Monday is 166,492 cases, including 130,107 cases that have been cured and 9,360 deaths.
The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all the provinces of the Republic, follows the situation of the “emerging corona” virus first-hand and takes all necessary preventive measures against any virus or infectious disease, and the ministry has also assigned a series of media to receive inquiries from citizens on the emerging coronavirus and infectious diseases, including the hotline “105”, “15335” and the WhatsApp number “01553105105”, in addition to the application “Egypt Health “available on phones.
