Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said he was not surprised by Mohamed Salah’s success in becoming the first “Reds” player to score at least 20 goals in four different seasons since legend Ian Rush did.
Salah scored two goals during the match between Liverpool and host West Ham on Sunday for Matchday 21 of the English Premier League to lead the Reds to a 3-1 victory.

Salah raised his tally to 21 goals in all competitions this season, and Klopp assured reporters after the West Ham game that the Egyptian player has a tremendous desire to score goals.
He added: “I’m not surprised. I work with him daily and he will never stop having a huge desire to score goals.

He continued: “He is a high-class player and there is no doubt about that. I said in recent weeks when we did not score many goals, that the only thing to do is try and try again. Good decisions or better decisions must be made.” .
The German coach added: “The first goal (from Salah) came from a clever shot, and in recent weeks he tried to shoot between the feet of the competitors, and this time he managed to throw a strong ball into the upper corner. An excellent goal “.
Salah became the first Liverpool player to score at least 20 goals in four different seasons, after legend Ian Rush, who scored 20 or more goals in six seasons from 1981 to 1987.
Salah is currently the top scorer in the English Premier League, with 15 goals.
