The union denounced what it described as “false information” about the effect of local dental anesthesia on the absence of the patient’s full consciousness, saying that it is “completely false talk, since it does not affect the consciousness and perception of the patient at all. , and that general anesthesia in which the patient is absent is performed only within an equipped operating room, in the presence of a specialized anesthesiologist and a team of doctors and nurses.
The Dental Union called on the newspapers and various media outlets to be meticulously writing the news due to the extreme sensitivity of the subject, as well as to compromise the reputation of an entire profession.
The Public Ministry had ordered the arrest of a doctor accused of indecent assault against men by force, four days in advance, pending investigations.
The Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement last Wednesday that it had received a communication from five people in September last year against a dentist for harassing and raping them by force.
When he was arrested on the 25th day of this month, the Public Ministry interrogated him and confronted him with the technical evidence presented by the victims against him, and found other technical evidence on his mobile phone that supports the accusation against him. He decided that he suffers from a sexual orientation disorder, and that this disorder does not take away his conscience and consciousness, as it has adorned him to commit bad behavior.
The Public Ministry ordered the detention of the accused for four days pending investigation, and the available evidence against him was technically examined, and the investigations were being completed.
