The Al-Azbakeya prosecutor ordered the imprisonment of an accessory vendor, accused of burning 22 stores in the Al-Tawfiqeya market area for 4 days, pending investigations.

Investigations revealed that the defendant committed the incident due to disagreements with his cousins ​​over the sale of one of the stores in the market in question.

The defendant confessed to having committed the act, noting that due to economic disputes between him and his cousins ​​resulting from the sale of one of the stores “under construction” located in the department of the department, he obtained an amount of “gasoline” from the owner of a “tuk-tuk” vehicle, after being accused of being a tuk-tuk driver. His vehicle broke down, and he drove to the place of communication and poured gasoline and set fire to some of his cousins’ fenders, subject of the report, but the fire spread as indicated, and he fled.

The Civil Protection Operations Room in Cairo had received a report stating that a fire had broken out in several stores in the Al-Tawfiqia area, and immediately 13 fire trucks were pushed, the fire was extinguished and Firefighting vehicles were posted at the scene of the fire and firefighters conducted cooling operations to prevent the flames from reigniting. Detectives collect investigations and ask witnesses to determine the circumstances of the accident.
