Abdel Nasser Mohamed, Enppi Club football director, confirmed that his team had not received any notification from the Egyptian Football Association to postpone his team’s confrontation with Al-Ittihad of Alexandria in the Egyptian We League matches.
Muhammad indicated in exclusive statements in Laila Koura that his team arrived in the city of Burj Al Arab this Sunday afternoon, noting that there was a telephone conversation between him and Ahmed Mujahid, head of the management committee of the Football Association, ago some hours.
The statements of the football director in Enppi were produced in conjunction with the Egyptian Football Association announcing, through their official accounts on social networking sites, that Enppi’s meeting with the federation would be postponed to the first of March next. .
Enppi’s football director said: “We arrived at Burj Al Arab at 2:30 pm, and we took two buses in consideration of social distancing, in preparation to face the Alexandria Union.”
He continued: “No official told us about the postponement before we went to Burj Al Arab, and we will be at the stadium during the deadline for tomorrow’s clash because we have not received any notification of the postponement.”
He added: “After the two buses arrived, Ahmed Mujahid, the head of the tripartite committee, spoke to me and asked me about our whereabouts, and I assured him that we are at the designated residence hotel for us in Burj Al Arab.”
He concluded: “Mujahid assured me that as long as we get to Alexandria, there is no need to postpone due to weather conditions, and we were not aware of any postponement attempts, and we will go to Alexandria Stadium on the date of the match.”
