The Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation announced the end of the meeting of the water ministers of Egypt and Ethiopia, technical and legal delegations of the two countries, observers and experts appointed by the Commission of the African Union, due to the non-participation of the State from Sudan.

The ministry confirmed in a statement on Monday that an agreement was reached during the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Water of the three countries (Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan) on the Great Dam of the Renaissance of Ethiopia, which was held under the presidency of South Africa in his capacity as current President of the African Union on January 3, 2021, in the presence of observers and experts appointed by the Union Commission.
