The 21-year-old also explained to Al-Arabiya.net that she has been working in the hospital’s intensive care department for 7 months, and for the first time she sees this large number of deaths from Corona, confirming that the second wave is much more difficult than the first and its victims are more, adding that the complications of the disease are intensifying. And getting more serious.
In addition, he confirmed that the cases of the deceased were already deteriorating, as they suffered from chronic diseases, and the medical staff tried to help them with all their might, but all efforts were unsuccessful.
What happened to the oxygen?
For his part, Ahmed Mamdouh Nafeh, the first cameraman to spread like wildfire among Egyptians, a young man from the village of Munajah in the city of Husseinieh, posted another video on Facebook, revealing new details about the incident, and confirmed that the hospital’s oxygen tank was suddenly closed by an actor. He suffocated patients and died, adding that it closed at four in the morning on Friday, and filmed and documented this with video.
In addition, he said that he woke up the employee responsible for oxygen, and when he opened it, the pressure in the tank was 5%, and it was supposed to be 10%, so the employee opened another valve and the boxes began to improve again, indicating that on Friday there were 1800 liters of oxygen in the tank. At the beginning of the next day, the quantity became 400 liters, while the papers sent to the governor of the Eastern Province and the Undersecretariat of the Ministry of Health indicated that the tank contained 1,700 liters, which is contrary to the truth.
The photographer detonates another surprise
The cameraman also released another surprise, confirming that the oxygen had already run out at 9:30 p.m. on Friday night, which caused the death of the cases after asphyxia, refuting the statements of the spokesman for the Ministry of Health and the governor from Al-Sharqiya, who confirmed that oxygen was not running low.
On the other hand, Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharkia, confirmed that there is no shortage of oxygen reserves in the governorate hospitals, and there is a daily report on the stocks that is presented to the Prime Minister and Ministers of Health. and Local Development, which indicates that the government currently has 81 thousand liters of oxygen. The liquid lasts 4 days, plus 1,480 tubes of oxygen will last 10 days.
He said in press releases that Al-Husseiniya Hospital has a sufficient backup network for the flow of oxygen for 15 hours, with 44 oxygen cylinders in reserve, noting that the four deaths occurred as a result of Corona complications and have no nothing to do with the lack of oxygen, because all the cases in the hospital work on a single oxygen network. If there had been an oxygen cut, a disaster would have occurred, especially in the nurseries, but no deaths were recorded, and all four cases did not die at the same time.
The prosecution is investigating
He added that internal security has been referred to the hospital for investigation due to the assault of the cameraman who circulates on social networking sites for intensive care, highlighting that the whole matter is in the hands of the prosecution, the results of the investigation will be released and you will be held responsible for the infringement, whether due to negligence or not. He said the prosecution is listening to statements from family members, eyewitnesses and a cameraman.
