Sharqia Governor Dr Mamdouh Ghurab said that 7 cases of coronavirus patients died at Al Husseiniya Central Hospital from lack or depletion of hospital oxygen, stating that the death toll was only 4 cases and they were on ventilators and that the death was natural as a result of the deterioration of their condition due to coronavirus infection and they suffer from chronic diseases.
This occurred in an official statement, Sunday, in response to what was circulated on social media pages with a video clip, from inside the Al Husseiniya Central Hospital, which shows the death of several Corona patients after it was arrested. the oxygen pumping because it was running low in the hospital.
The governor explained that a technical committee was formed as soon as the video appeared and he went to the hospital to verify the validity of what was circulating regarding the lack of oxygen, and by examination it was found that the number of deaths was only 4 deaths, in the isolation care of the chronically ill and oxygen is available in the hospital, and there are 17 children in the nursery and Two cases in general care and 36 cases of corona infection in the isolation department, and there were no deaths among these cases.
The governor indicated that the oxygen fed to Corona patients in intensive care is the same as that in nurseries and public care, and at the time of the deaths, the oxygen car was feeding the tank, which means that no there is no oxygen shortage or depletion, plus there is a backup network to use in case of any problem in the oxygen tank, health services are provided to patients satisfactorily, and the security company official was Referral for investigation, to allow one of the individuals to enter isolation care, photograph patients, and cause confusion.
The governor of Al-Sharqiya assured that he is in constant contact with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Al-Sharqiya to monitor the health status of people infected with Coronavirus in hospitals, to ensure the availability of oxygen as needed and to provide all aspects of necessary health care and treatment for the injured until they recover.
