Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed Kuwait’s efforts to achieve Arab reconciliation.
During his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah, on Saturday, the Egyptian President received a message from Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, which included a review of the latest developments related to Kuwait’s efforts to bring Arab ranks together through reconciliation.
During his message, the Kuwaiti monarch affirmed his pride in the close fraternal relations between the two sister countries and his enthusiasm to strengthen them, while praising the strategic and fundamental role that Egypt plays under the leadership of the President in protecting national security. and defense of the problems of the Arab nation, as well as the tireless efforts of Egypt to consolidate security. For his part, Sisi highlighted the peculiarity of relations between Egypt and Kuwait, which spanned decades of fruitful cooperation between the two countries in all fields, and Egypt’s willingness to develop close bilateral cooperation and coordination in interest of the two brother peoples, as well as of the Arab nation.
Regarding reconciliation efforts; President Al-Sisi expressed his sincere appreciation and support for Kuwait’s sincere efforts stemming from good intentions over the past years to achieve the desired reconciliation, beginning with the sincere efforts of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah, which Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah continued, as well as the esteemed role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
