And the Investigation of the General Administration of Residential Affairs of the Ministry of the Interior of Kuwait announced that the number of deportees from Kuwait during the year 2020 reached 8,143.

The Kuwaiti investigation (residency matters) revealed – in a report published Friday by the Kuwaiti daily Al-Jarida – that among the deportees there were 6,003 deportees from the residence investigation to the Department of Deportation, and 2,140 due to referrals from sectors of the Ministry of the Interior, while the (residence) carried out 653 inspection campaigns. Regarding the cases of minor crimes related to residence in exchange for money, which were referred to the Investigation Department, he pointed out that the number reached 44 cases, including 111 companies, while the number of defendants reached 259, from of which 21 were transferred to the Central Prison.
