The Minister of Education added that the epidemic situation in Egypt requires that we complete the school year from home, using multiple learning resources in preparation for the first trimester exams that we postponed to protect everyone during the peak period.

Dr. Tarek Shawky emphasized that the Egyptian state always affirms its extreme concern for the safety of all members of the educational system for our children first, then the teachers, administrators and all the workers of the educational system and all the Egyptian people.

On the other hand .. The Ministry of Education has settled the controversy over the situation of all workers in the education system after recent decisions regarding the growing number of Coronavirus infections.

The Ministry of Education sent an urgent letter to the education directorates, in which it confirmed that with reference to the comprehensive state plan to protect citizens from any impact of the Corona virus, and within the framework of what was announced in the Council of Ministers regarding upon the completion of the teaching of school curricula in the distance education system from January 2, 2021 until the end of the first semester. And to postpone all exams until after the mid-year holidays, it was decided to activate the immigration decision for those who allow the nature of their jobs to work from home to perform their assigned work tasks without being at the workplace. during the term of the Prime Minister’s decision.

The Ministry of Education highlighted that the rest of the employees carry out their functions rotating between them daily or weekly.

And the Ministry of Education said in its letter … An employee with a chronic illness, according to his employment record, is granted an exceptional leave for the duration of this decision.

The Ministry of Education confirmed that the employee with non-chronic diseases is granted an exceptional leave for the same period according to a report issued by one of the public hospitals that he is entitled to this leave.

The Ministry of Education also clarified that the employee who has been in contact with a patient with an infectious disease is granted leave for the period specified by the competent medical authority.

Finally, the Ministry of Education emphasized that an employee who is pregnant or who takes care of one or more children under the age of 12 must have an exceptional license.
