Dr Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, revealed the position of the school strengthening groups following the decision to postpone the school year.
Shawky said in a press release through one of the parent groups on WhatsApp on Friday that all student gatherings are prohibited from Saturday, January 2, until the end of the mid-year break.
The Minister of Education confirmed that the decision not to attend school includes recovery groups.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the modification of the time map so as to allow the continuation of work in the school year and at the same time not expose all the members of the system to danger, it was decided to cancel the attendance in schools of all type, from January 2, 2021 until the beginning of the mid-year holidays, which will start from January 16 to 20. February 2021.
It also decided to postpone all the exams that were scheduled to take place in this chapter (paper – practical – electronic) until after the end of the mid-year break, if conditions stabilized internally due to the spread of the Corona pandemic, applying this to all types of education and its different levels.
It also decided to complete the teaching of the study plan as of next Saturday, January 2, 2021 and until the end of the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, in the distance education system, meeting the basic requirements and obtaining the minimum standards to complete the curriculum without any deletion from the curriculum.
