The Supreme Council of Universities held an emergency meeting on Wednesday, headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Latif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities and rectors of universities, through video conferencing technology.
The Council valued the directives issued by the President of the Republic and the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers, which were in the interest of the safety of students, professors, support staff and all university employees, which stipulate the following :
– Complete the study remotely, through e-learning platforms in all public, private and private universities, governmental and private higher institutes, from Saturday January 2 to Saturday January 16, 2021.
The start of the mid-year holidays from Saturday, January 16, 2021 to Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Postpone all oral and practical exams at all levels of undergraduate education and graduate studies at all public, private, and private universities, and government and private colleges, until after the end of the mid-year vacation.
