President Al-Sisi Orders Postponement of Exams Until “After Mid-Year Break”

Today, Thursday, the Council of Ministers agreed to postpone all exams until after the end of the mid-year vacation and complete studies during this semester with the distance education system, according to the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

This came during the weekly cabinet meeting chaired today by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly.

In a statement, the council said that in the context of dealing with the repercussions of the spread of the new Corona virus, and in the interests of the health and safety of all members of the educational process, including students, teachers and teachers, the Council of Ministers approved, based on the indications of President Sisi, the proposal of each of my ministries. Higher education and scientific research, education and technical education, upon completing the teaching of the curriculum from next Saturday until the end of the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year in the distance education system, with the basic requirements fulfilled, the minimum standards for completing the curriculum and postponing all exams. Which was to be held this semester after the end of the mid-year vacation, applying this to all types and levels of education.
