“Shawky”: study stopped from January 2 to February 20, with the completion of distance learning

Dr Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, announced Thursday that the Egyptian state emphasized the protection of all elements of the educational process, “students, teachers and members of the educational system.”

“Shawky” added at a press conference that the Corona crisis resulted in finding many solutions to complete the educational process.

Shawky announced the modification of the time map to allow for the completion of the school year and the protection of students, and in recognition of the situation regarding the spread of the Corona pandemic, we decided to take the exams after the holidays from mid-year after February 20 and use the means available to complete the curriculum.

Shawky announced the suspension of the study from January 2 to February 20, with the completion of distance learning based on electronic learning resources.

Shawqi announced the completion of the study and did not remove the study plans, stop all practical exams and exams outside the group, prevent students from going to any type of school, and cancel attendance at government, private, technical and international schools.
