The Minister of Higher Education orders an urgent investigation into the dismissal of student Mustafa Shaalan

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, ordered that an urgent investigation be opened by Dr. Obaid Saleh, Rector of Damanhour University, on the facts mentioned by student Mustafa Shaalan, who enrolls in the second division of the Faculty of Commerce of Damanhour University, after the student made a phone call to one of the Egyptian television talk shows, which led to his dismissal from the university for a year.

The minister ordered the rector of the university to investigate these facts and hold those responsible responsible, regardless of their position or position, in case the facts mentioned by the student are proven, which may deny the student the charge of spreading false news or spread rumors.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar requested to be informed of the result of the investigation, as well as to deliver within 48 hours a comprehensive report of the committee that the Supreme Council of Universities had previously decided to set up in each university, headed by the Vice President of Environmental Affairs and Community Service . Monitor and prove the violations committed either by teachers, their assistants, employees or students, due to the precautionary measures taken by the university to face the spread of the new Corona virus, indicating what the committee of measures has taken to monitor and prove these violations .

The minister also asked the rector of the university to prepare a comprehensive report on the precautionary measures taken by the university to confront the spread of the new Corona virus.
