Investigations revealed that the clinic is unlicensed and violates all occupational health, safety and medical requirements, and performs its work in violation of the law, and is located in a residential block in the Agami area, and there is no sign on behalf of the clinic, and is run by a recovering addiction.

Last night, the Dekheila Police Department received a report from the Emergency Police Department stating that a fire broke out in Villa No. 27, 13th Street, opposite Al-Hanafiya Street, in the Bitash area of ​​the Al neighborhood. -Ajami.

The examination revealed that the villa consists of two floors and a “roof” and is used as a sanatorium for psychological treatment and addiction, and there are 45 people in it, while the fire caused the death of 6 patients and the injury of another.

The inspection of the Prosecutor’s Office of the village revealed the death of the 6 patients by asphyxia by smoke while they were inside the rooms designated for them in the clinic, and their lack of exit due to the fact that all the doors were tightly closed.

A forensic investigation team continues its efforts to discover the circumstances of the fire and present its perpetrators to the prosecution if it was the result of an active act, but in the event that it occurred as a result of a short circuit, the workers and the owner of the sanatorium will be taken to the prosecution for negligence.

A report on the incident was issued at the Dekheila Police Department, and the presentation is sent to the Prosecutor’s Office for investigation.
