Ismaili coach Talaat Youssef said he did not study the decision to train the dervishes, adding that there is a flaw in the equipment and it will take longer to remedy the deficiencies.
Youssef took over the training sessions for the Ismaili club several days ago, after the yellow team’s management announced the departure of Brazilian Ricardo.
During radio statements for the “One Two” program broadcast by “On Sport”, Youssef said: “I did not study the decision to coach Ismaili, the name of the club is imposed. When you mention the name of (Ismaili), the memory takes you to the days of the club that achieved several tournaments “.
He added that “Ismaily’s performance is always different from the performance of the rest of the teams in Egypt, a club that has a name and history, and has a huge following in Egypt.”
He continued: “Things within the team are difficult. Last season was one of the bad ones for the club, a situation that did not correspond to them. Besides, their beginnings this season were not good.”
He continued: “Any team can go through a bad stage, but there is a flaw in the team, when I asked for a report on the health status of the players and received 11 reports, including injuries that can extend for a long time, such as Baher Al- Muhammadi, and there are doubts about Fakhreddin bin Youssef’s infection with the Corona virus. ” .
He continued: “There are big technical problems in the team. The players are disappointed. It takes effort and time. We will need to support some centers in January.”
He added: “The club has ambitions, but your success will be if you balance your capabilities and aspirations … the equation is difficult.”
Youssef added: “It takes a long time for the team to get back on their feet, restore their style, highlight the skills of the players and instill confidence in them, and this will not happen overnight.”
He concluded: “I was previously offered Ismaili training on 3 occasions and I refused. The current weather conditions are worse than the team’s, but I accepted because I felt there was appreciation from the administration and the support and support of everyone.”
