Application from the first of January. Learn about ATM withdrawal fees and balance inquiries

At the end of December of this year 2020, the initiative of the Central Bank to cancel commissions on withdrawals and balance inquiries from ATMs or ATMs ends, so that the fees or commissions return again on withdrawals and balance inquiries as of January 1 January 2021.

Commissions or fees are limited if the customer uses an ATM that is not affiliated with the bank from which the debit card or their bank was issued.

We review here the fees for withdrawing and consulting about the balance of ATMs in Egyptian banks:

– Bank of Egypt
The commission for checking the balance is 1 EGP and for withdrawals 6 EGP each time.

– National Bank of Egypt
The commission for consulting the balance is one and a half pounds, and for withdrawals it is 5 pounds each time.

– International Commercial Bank (CIB)
The commission for withdrawals is 2% for each transaction, with a minimum of 20 pounds, and for payroll cards 3 pounds for each transaction.

– Bank of Cairo
The commission for checking the balance is 5 pounds and for withdrawals of 7 pounds each time.

– SAIB Bank
The balance inquiry fee is £ 3 and for withdrawals £ 7, each time.

Faisal Islamic Bank
Balance inquiries cost £ 3 and withdrawal is £ 5.

– Bank of Alexandria
Balance inquiries cost £ 3 and withdrawal is £ 10.

– African Arab International
Balance inquiries cost £ 3 and withdrawal is £ 8.

HSBC Bank
Withdrawal of 10 pounds, no charge for balance inquiries.

Credit Agricole Egypt Bank
Balance inquiries cost £ 2 and withdrawal is £ 6.

– The Gulf Bank of Egypt
Balance inquiries cost £ 3 and withdrawal is £ 5.

– National Bank of Qatar, QNB
Balance inquiries cost £ 2 and withdrawal is £ 5.

Housing and Development Bank:
Balance inquiries are free and withdrawal is £ 5.

Balance inquiries are EGP 5 and withdrawal is EGP 8.
