Al-Masry Al-Borseidi achieved their first league win of the season by defeating Aswan.

Al-Masry defeated Aswan by 3 unanswered goals in the third round matches of the league competition.

Al-Masry raised his score to 5 points in fourth place, one point behind the leader.

As for Aswan, their victories ceased and their score remained at 6 points in third place, on goal difference with Al-Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra.

The first half ended with a goalless draw between the two teams in the game of missed opportunities.

Al-Masry came close to scoring in the eighth minute after a perfect cross from Mohamed Antar that hit Mustafa Sultan’s head but flipped him over the oddly empty post.

Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid killed the game with a third goal in the 84th minute, following an elaborate cross from Ahmed Rifaat, around which he headed into an empty goal.

Al-Masry will play Egypt for Al-Maqsas in their next match, while Aswan will face El-Gouna.
