Liverpool continued to lead the Premier League clubs and took advantage of Tottenham’s loss to Leicester City in the fourteenth round of the tournament.
Liverpool leads the Premier League
Liverpool won a landslide victory over host Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, with seven goals, including Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, who scored two goals to lead the Premier League scorer with 13 goals.
Manchester City defeated Southampton with an unanswered goal, scored by Raheem Sterling, the English international, while Mohamed Al-Nani was involved in Arsenal’s two-goal loss to Everton.
Newcastle United drew with Fulham with one goal per team and, with the same result, Brighton drew with Sheffield United.
Tottenham lost at home to Leicester City by a clean double, extending the gap between them and Liverpool to 6 points, while Leicester Fennecs are just 4 points ahead.
Manchester United at home, “Old Trafford”, crushed their guest Leeds United 6-2, like Aston Villa, and in the absence of Egyptian star Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, they beat West Bromwich Albion 3-0.
Two games will be played at the end of the fourteenth round on Monday, as Burnley faces Wolverhampton and the other game between Chelsea and West Ham United.
