Josh Ashton, the former head of public health in England, revealed that the Premier League is currently threatened with further delays due to the return of the Corona virus to an outbreak again in the country, up to the fourth degree.

The English newspaper “Telegraph” stated that top-level sports expect a 70% increase in injury rates among athletes, after restrictions were imposed in London, and sporting events have already been postponed for the last month, including the English League match between Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Matt Hancock, England’s Health Secretary, confirmed that despite the protocol currently in place to protect elite athletes, fourth grade can last for several months.

John Ashton explained that more postponements are expected in Premier League matches, especially after London has become the city hardest hit by the fourth degree of the epidemic.

In fourteen rounds of the English Premier League, a competition match was postponed due to numerous infections among Newcastle players with the epidemic.
