The Football Association announced, informing the Competitions Committee of the African Football Confederation, “enough”, that the result of the match between Tunisia and Egypt in the North African qualifying tournament for African nations in Mauritania is still under study. It does not mean that it is being held under the umbrella of the North African Confederation that the issue has been definitively closed.
The Football Association indicated, through an official statement issued by it on Friday, that “CAF” reviews the issue in a comprehensive manner, and did not close or consider the result of the withdrawal of the Egyptian team and considering it defeated for the second consecutive game. All actions taken will be reviewed and submitted to the higher committees of the African Union for a final decision. Regarding that match.
The tripartite committee in charge of the federation’s management, headed by Ahmed Mujahid, decided that Jamal Muhammad Ali would continue to lead the youth national team delegation currently participating in the North African qualifying tournament for the African Nations Youth Championship.
The committee decided to support the mission with an additional administrator who will join the mission next Sunday morning.
