Zamalek players celebrate Ferjani Sassi’s goal at Raja
Jamal Mohamed Ali, vice president of the five-year committee that heads the Football Association, revealed how the Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, the Zamalek player, contributed to solving the financial liquidity crisis of the Tunisian youth team.
Gamal Mohamed Ali answered the question: Did Sassi help the Egyptian youth team? He said, “Why do we raise controversies when they are unfounded?”
He explained: “The elected has a specific budget and there are variables with new financial requirements, and if we send money through the bank, it will take days to withdraw it here.”
“The administrator gave the money to Ferjani Sassi in Egypt to deliver it to us quickly, and it came to us through a person affiliated with him in Tunisia faster than the bank,” he added.
He added: “This is a quick solution and the administration has acted because it has not yet recovered from Corona, and the amount is $ 10,000.”
He concluded: “We needed these funds for hospital reserves, as well as for swabs in external laboratories and to match the new variables, in addition to the overall established budget.”
