Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education, gave official instructions to all schools in the Republic, with the need to take the preventive and precautionary measures necessary to prevent infection by the Coronavirus in all educational facilities.
This is part of the interest of the Ministry of Education for the health of students at all levels of pre-university education in all schools in the Republic, and to complement the efforts made by the Ministry to combat the spread of the new Corona virus in cooperation with relevant ministries.
Where the Minister of Education highlighted in a circular sent to all directions, educational departments and schools, the need to implement the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and Population regarding the appearance of positive cases of the Coronavirus, and not allow the return of those infected, whether they are students, teachers or workers, unless evidence of their recovery is presented. .
The Minister of Education also stressed the need to inform the education administration immediately of all data on the injured (students, teachers or workers) to inform the Ministry of this.
The Minister of Education stated that for those who are in contact with a person infected by the Coronavirus, whether this contact is a student, teacher or workers of educational facilities, home isolation is applied for a period of 14 days in order to guarantee the health of students and all workers.
The Minister of Education warned that the closure of any school is based on a decision of the Directorate of Education and the Directorate of Health of the Government only, and not by a decision of the school alone, indicating that in case of infraction the legal measures in this regard.
And had Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis, in which the ongoing efforts to face the crisis and the position to provide the vaccine were reviewed, with the participation of the ministers, committee members and interested officials.
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly highlighted the need to continue applying precautionary and preventive measures, imposing fines on offenders by intensifying the campaigns of the competent authorities, as well as increasing penalties for violators of precautionary measures, and for issuing of resolutions according to which the fine is charged immediately to offenders.
