The river rescue unit moved to search for deaths in the vicinity of the Dar Al-Salam accident after a minibus fell into a canal adjacent to the road in front of Al-Balabish village in Sohag governorate.

The number of victims of a collision with a bus belonging to the Upper Egypt Company and a minibus on the Dar Al-Salam road in front of the village of Al-Balabish, in Sohag governorate, increased to 6 dead and 6 injured.

And the Health Directorate declared a state of emergency in all hospitals, and 16 ambulances were pushed to the scene, and the bodies and wounded were transported to Dar Al-Salam, Akhmim and Sohag University hospitals.

The events of the incident began when Major General Dr. Hassan Mahmoud, Deputy Minister of the Interior, Sohag Security Director, received a notification of a traffic accident between a bus and a minibus, and the presence of victims and injured in the Dar Al-Salam Center Department.

Immediately, 16 ambulances were pushed to the scene.

And on moving and examining it was found that there was a collision between a bus belonging to the Upper Egypt company coming from Qena towards Cairo and a minibus with people traveling from the center of Dar Al-Salam, and the accident resulted in the death of 6 people and the injury of 6 others.

“Sada Al-Balad” publishes the names of those killed in this accident, “Hatem Mazyad”, 23, a worker, and “Ahmed El-Sayed”, 29, a worker, and “Faris Ali”, from 30, a worker, and “Walid Muhammad, 24”. I am one year old, I am a worker, and “Mr. Nour”, 50, is a worker, and “Hussam al-Din Bahaa, 24, is a worker.”

The necessary report on the incident is being prepared, the effects of the accident are being removed from the road and the Public Ministry has been notified to take charge of the investigations.
