The company clarified that all governorates have been prepared, even those in which rain is not expected, to use their equipment when necessary, and take a package of measures, the most important of which are:

2. Repair any damage to storm drains and install covers for them.
3. Drainage of networks, complexes and residential pumping stations to increase their capacity.
6. Maintain and increase the efficiency of the main lifting stations that receive provisions from the main complexes and revision of the backup generation units.
7. Parking of hoods, equipment and cars to cover the main axes, squares and bridges, houses and bridges The equipment is parked in places where it is expected to collect water based on previous experiences.
8. Supply of a series of submersible switches and pumps to cover hot areas.
9. Continuous coordination with the Meteorological Authority to know the probable forecasts and forecasts of rain and its intensity.
10. Raise the alert level for the 125 customer service centers and the hotline.
11. Coordination between the emergency rooms of the companies, the operating rooms of the governorates and the competent authorities.
12. Distribution of all field monitoring teams – cleaning teams – station monitoring teams to all job sites according to the priority of the sites.
The Meteorological Authority expects moderate weather to prevail in Cairo and Lower Egypt on Wednesday, with moderate winds, moderate weather on the northern coasts, active winds and warm weather in South Sinai, with moderate winds.
The meteorological authority also expects a warm climate to prevail in northern Upper Egypt, and the winds are moderate, warm in southern Upper Egypt, and the winds are moderate.
