Books – Youssef Afifi:
Major General Ahmed Rashid, the governor of Giza, decided to suspend studies tomorrow Wednesday at all public and private schools and Al-Azhar institutes. Given the bad weather conditions and the wave of rains that are expected to expose the province, according to reports issued by the Meteorological Authority.
A statement from the governor’s office said today that the decision was made in order to preserve the safety of students and not be exposed to any event resulting from bad weather conditions and to allow interested agencies and authorities to take all necessary measures and face immediately the repercussions of instability in the climate and the negative effects that result from it.
The governor confirmed that the state of emergency will be lifted to deal with bad weather.
Meteorological experts expect the country to prevail tomorrow Wednesday, with mild weather during the day in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, warm in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, tending to warm in the northern Upper Egypt. While cold weather prevails at night everywhere.
Regarding meteorological phenomena, the average rain falls in areas of Greater Cairo, Matrouh, Alexandria, Beheira, Gharbia, Menoufia, Ras Sidr, Nahl and Katherine, and moderate rains fall in areas of Damietta, Port Said, Kafr El Sheikh, Dakahlia, Sharqia, Ismailia, Suez, Rafah and Arsh. And Bani Sweif and Minya.
