The judge added that the correct and documented information that everyone seeks is present in the institute, while returning to all national and technical institutes that have the scientific acumen to correct any information and drive away rumors.

And the head of the National Institute of Astronomical Research continued: “I would like to tell the citizens, who are very calm, Egypt is completely safe and away from the albumin belt despite the frequent earthquakes of recent times.”

The stations of the National Seismological Network of the National Institute of Astronomical Research have registered a series of earthquakes in recent times, among them: last November 14 with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale, the second on November 18 with a magnitude 3.0 on the Richter scale, and the third occurred on Sunday, November 22. The past in the delta region has a magnitude of 3.5 degrees on the Richter scale, and on December 11, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 degrees on the Richter scale, 19 km west of 6 October, and today Tuesday, December 15, an earthquake occurred 12 km southeast of Aqaba.
