The youth demands a new turn after the positivity of 17 players

Officials from the Egyptian youth team, led by Rabie Yassin, called for an immediate swab of all members of the team’s delegation in Tunisia, after 17 positive samples were reported to be infected with the new Corona virus among the players.

According to the statement issued by the Egypt Youth Team media coordinator, “the youth team demanded that all mission members present in Tunisia be cleaned immediately after the news that 17 players and Rabih Yassin were infected with the Corona virus. “.

The statement said national team officials demanded that a second scan be performed for the team’s mission at another laboratory that is also accredited.

The mission demanded the intervention of Ihab Fahmy, the Egyptian ambassador to Tunisia, to perform a second smear in an accredited laboratory, 24 hours before the Egypt-Libya Youth match.

The youth team is preparing to compete in the North African Championships, to be held in Tunisia from December 15 to 28, and qualify for the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
