The Council of Ministers published a video on the climate, places of precipitation and wind speed to which the country is exposed during this week, from Sunday to next Wednesday.
The Meteorological Authority confirmed that the country is experiencing a state of instability in weather conditions from Sunday to Wednesday, due to the country’s exposure to an air depression centered on the western Mediterranean, and is gradually moving eastward, generating active winds from southwest that excite sand and dust. Most areas, and the fall of rain in separate areas and a drop in temperatures.
Tomorrow, Monday, the country will witness a drop in temperatures between 3 and 4 degrees, to return to normal levels in most parts, and moderate to heavy rains that are usually thunderstorms in areas of the northwest coast.
The country is also experiencing light to moderate rains, in areas of the eastern coasts, Lower Egypt and the Gulf of Aqaba.
The winds are active in areas of the eastern coasts, Sinai, Lower Egypt, Cairo, the canal cities and the south of the country, creating difficulties in horizontal visibility and disturbing navigation in the Mediterranean.
Tuesday
Temperatures drop 2 to 3 degrees, below normal rates, and moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms fall most of the time in areas of the northwestern coasts.
It also witnesses moderate rains in areas of Lower Egypt and the canal cities.
And the winds are active in areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and the south of the country, and the movement of navigation in the Mediterranean is disturbed.
Wednesday
Moderate to heavy rains, sometimes thunderstorms, in areas of the northeast coast.
Moderate rains fall in areas of the northwestern coasts and Cairo, and light rains in areas of Lower Egypt, the Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt and areas of South Sinai.
