Sami El Shishini, coach of the Aswan team, confirmed that his teams were able to win against Enppi at the beginning of the team’s career in the league for the current season, despite weak capabilities compared to the rest of the league.

Aswan defeated their host Enppi with a clean goal, in the match played between them at the “Petrosport” stadium on Friday night, at the opening of the matches of the new edition of the Egyptian Premier League 2020/2021.

Speaking to Ontime Sports, El Chechenyi said they tried not to open the stadium lines to Enppi and focused on playing on the counterattacks, indicating that the team will face difficulties in the rest of the league matches.

He added: “We only have 6 or 7 players from the main strength of the team, and the rest of the players went on loan or sale to cover the needs of the team.”

He explained, that he will close the winning page against Enppi and focus on the next matchup in the league against Vanguard Al-Jaish without his team resting.

He concluded: “Everyone was aspiring to the Aswan team before the start of the tournament, but we will try our best and score the most points.”

With this result, Aswan cuts the ribbon of the new league with an early surprise at Enppi, as coach Sami El Chechini’s team scored the first three points in the local competition.
