The Meteorological Authority revealed the meteorological phenomena and the places of rain that are expected from tomorrow, Friday, December 11, 2020 until Wednesday, December 16, 2020:
On Friday, December 11, 2020:
Water jet: water jet in some areas of the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, Central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
On Saturday, December 12, 2020:
Light rain (30%): in some areas of the western coasts
Source of water in some areas of Lower Egypt, Cairo, the northern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.
Agitated wind and sand activity: in some areas of the west of the country (Sallum – Sidi Barani – Siwa).
On Sunday, December 13, 2020:
Light to moderate rain (50%): in some areas of the northwest coast.
Agitated activity of wind and sand: in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt.
On Monday, December 11, 2020:
Medium to heavy rains in some areas of the northwest coast (Alexandria – Dabaa – Matrouh – Salloum – Rashid – Baltim).
Moderate rain: in some areas of the northeast coast (Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).
Light to moderate rainfall: in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira Dakahlia – West – East – Menoufia).
Agitated wind and sand activity: in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt.
Tuesday December 15 20 20:
Medium to heavy rains in some areas of the northern coasts (Alexandria, Al-Dayaa – Matrouh – Salloum – Rashid – Baltim – Damietta – Port Said – Al-Arish – Rafah).
Moderate rain: in some areas of Lower Egypt (Kafr El Sheikh – Beheira Dakahlia – West – East – Menoufia) and in some areas of South Sinai and the mountain ranges of the Red Sea.
Light to moderate rain: in some areas of Greater Cairo and the Canal cities
On Wednesday, December 16 (2020:
Medium to heavy rains in some areas of the eastern coasts (Damietta – Port Said – Al Arish – Rafah).
Moderate rain: in some areas of the western coasts (Alexandria – Al Dayaa – Matrouh – Salloum – Rashid – Baltim).
Light rain: in some areas of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and the canal cities.
The Meteorological Authority highlighted the need to take all the necessary preparations and measures to limit the effects of the rain, explaining that the forecasts are updated daily.
