The Prosecutor’s Office reveals the details of the suicide of the “bride of the pyramid” and orders the imprisonment of her father and husband

On Wednesday, the Public Ministry ordered the imprisonment of the father and husband of a deceased girl in the Haram neighborhood.

The Public Ministry had received a notification from the Haram Police Department Investigation Unit on the night of December 5 of the death of a girl and the injury of another boy by jumping out of the window of his residence, as he committed suicide , so the Public Ministry went to discuss the body of the deceased and found her about 15 years old with head injuries and poor places on the body, and asked her husband – who is 17 years old – about the circumstances of the incident, for which decided that a fight broke out between them, in which he attacked her by slapping her in the face, and when she tried to leave her house, he closed the door on her, and was surprised that she jumped out of the window of the house , which led to her death, so she tried to leave the house in turn and was unable to follow her out the window. With his wife and thus he was injured.

The Public Ministry went to inspect the aforementioned house and the scene of the incident, and asked two witnesses about the incident, who confirmed that after learning that the victim had fallen, a deceased in her blood, they saw her husband next to her trying to wake her up. Her injury, while the parents of the deceased accused her husband of killing her in front of the Public Ministry and jumped behind her to deny her crime, and that they had a customary marriage a month ago in a law firm, while the husband’s mother testified that his son jumped after his wife, affected by her death and his love for her.

The police investigations had confirmed that the act had committed a suicide on the part of the deceased and that it had been initiated by her husband, after the dispute between them, and that those responsible for the law firm with which they had a customary marriage contract, and that her father put his life at risk by marrying her at such a young age.

Consequently, the Public Ministry questioned the victim’s father about the mistreatment of his daughter and the exposure of danger by marrying her at an early age, and he denied what is attributed to him.

The Public Ministry ordered that the father of the deceased and her husband remain in custody for four days pending investigations, and proceeded before those responsible for the law firm in which their marriage was celebrated, and the General Directorate of Investigation of Evidence Criminal was in charge of removing the physical and biological effects from the residence of the deceased and the place of the accident and examining them, and delegated the forensic doctor to carry them out. The body of the deceased and investigations are being completed.

And the Prosecutor’s Office continued: “This fact indicates the dangerous effects of the marriage of minors, which can destroy their life and harm their rights, which are legally and legally determined, since the material and moral burdens of the victim and her husband severely affected the first suicide and in the second embarking on it ”.

The Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the different civilizations of the nations have settled and that divine laws have approved and promulgated legislation – in accordance with the custom of each era and Egypt – to specify the permissible age in which marriage is based on the criterion that girls energize the physical, physical and psychological burdens of marriage, without being satisfied with their physical maturity even if they and their guardians are satisfied. By marriage, it is the preservation of the rights of women and the rights of the spouses together, the maintenance of their lives, the guarantee of the success of their marriage, the management of their life and the care of their children, that inspires Egyptian society to refrain from marrying minors based on a false understanding of the facts of the heritage that have distorted their facts and the jurisprudence derived from the religious institutions of the State, as they have repeatedly demonstrated. Official.

The Public Ministry also affirms the legal classification of said marriages in accordance with the provisions of the penal code and special laws, including the crimes of exposing children to danger, exploitation and marrying in contravention of the legally established conditions, and affirms its Firm response to such crimes and the prosecution of their authors and participants in what the law stipulates and authorizes in terms of procedures, in faith.
