Elections for the House of Representatives were held in the Monufia governorate, within the second phase governorates, in 11 seats distributed in 6 electoral districts, and 22 candidates competed for them in the second round. Elections were held in 926 subcommittees within 512 polling stations, and the number of voters in the Gharbia governorate reached 2 million and 698 1,758 votes.
The announcement of the results of the numerical inventory to compile the committees was followed by celebrations in the governorate of Monufia, in particular the march of Karim Talaat Al-Sadat from Tala to the village of Mit Abu Al-Kum to read Al-Fatiha in the spirit of his late father Talaat Al-Sadat.
The results of the elections will be officially announced with the knowledge of the National Electoral Authority on December 14, after adding the votes of Egyptians abroad to the results of the numerical counting of the votes of the electoral commissions, and the National Electoral Authority. It is the supreme committee that has the exclusive right to announce the results, and the results of the vote count are as follows:
1st constituency: Shebin Al-Kom Center (two seats)
Second constituency: Quesna and Baraka Sabaa (two seats)
Third constituency: Tala and Al-Shuhada (two seats)
Fourth constituency, Eshmoun Center (2 seats)
Fifth constituency, Centro Al Bahour (one seat)
Sixth constituency: Menouf, Sadat and Saras Al-Layyan (two seats)
These figures come in accordance with the statistical number of committees, with confirmation that the National Electoral Authority has the inherent right to announce the final results of the 2020 House of Representatives elections.
The results of the second round will be announced next Monday, December 14. The repetition of the second phase took place outside on December 6, 7 and 8, and indoors on December 7 and 8.
