The Ministry of Education and Technical Education issued a decision to return the exceptional license in the ministry and its affiliates, as part of the government’s approach to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Ministry decided that the employees of the General Directorate of the Ministry, and its affiliated bodies, would rotate attending work 3 days a week, and that these three days would be fixed and complied with, not being allowed to change them except in favor of work.
The Ministry of Education stressed that fellow assistants must do the work of their fellow substitutes without laziness or inaction.
He said that in case of absent from the days of attendance under this exceptional license, it is considered continuous leave for the entire period.
The Ministry of Education also decided to grant the employee returning from abroad an exceptional leave for a period of 15 days, starting from the date of his return.
The Ministry also decided to grant the employee who is confirmed to be infected with the Coronavirus or who has been in contact or is suspected of being infected, bringing the documents that indicate it, an exceptional leave of no less than 14 days, which will be extended without a maximum until complete recovery is demonstrated.
The Education Ministry stated that it is allowed for heads of agencies, bodies and sectors, heads of central departments and general managers to convene employees according to work needs during the week or assign them to work from home.
And he advanced that the aforementioned exceptional leave is considered paid, highlighting that all employees are required to wear protective masks from the beginning of work to the end of it and to sanction those who violate it, with a warning to health and safety professionals occupational so that they take the necessary precautions and health precautions.
The ministry indicated that the above instructions will be followed until further instructions are issued.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education had sent a letter to the education directorates to emphasize the application of precautionary and preventive measures to preserve the health and safety of our students.
The ministry explained that according to the decisions of the Supreme Committee for the Management of the New Coronavirus Crisis, which forced all workers or those who frequent markets, businesses, government or private establishments, or banks, or while they are in all means of mass transportation; Whether public or private, the use of protective masks, until further notice, and whoever infringes it, will be fined not more than four thousand pounds.
And he highlighted the need for all employees of the directorates and educational departments affiliated to it and of the schools to adhere to the decision to use the muzzle and alert students, over 12 years of age, of the need to use it.
The Ministry warned that in case the student does not adhere to the use of the muzzle, a first warning is given, and if the non-compliance is repeated, a second warning is given, and if the matter is repeated, the student cannot enter to school except after the presence of the tutor and a written statement of the student’s commitment to wear the muzzle.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education highlighted that the parents of the students – who are under 12 years old – use a face shield to preserve their health and safety.
