The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced five decisions relating to five matches in the preliminary round of the new edition of the African Champions League.

The CAF published an official statement on its website, in which it indicated the approval of the Chadian club Djazila to face Zamalek on the 32nd day of the competition, after the withdrawal of the Djiboutian club Sayyaf.

The text of the KAF statement was as follows:

– Chadian Jazela’s match and Somali Seif’s match: The match did not take place because the Djibouti team did not attend, so it was decided to exclude it from the competition and approve Gazela’s classification to face the Egyptian Zamalek.

– Match of Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Nouadhibou of Mauritania: The match was not played because the Mauritanian team did not complete the minimum number of players on the list due to the contagion of the Corona virus, so it was decided to exclude it and classify the Ghana team to face the Sudanese Al Hilal.

– Mouloudia Algeria and Boufelis El Benini match: The match was not held due to the inability of the Benin team to travel due to lack of flights to Algeria, while the second match confirmed the existence of two companies that offer flights, so it was decided to refer the incident to the organizing committee of the competition, which will make a decision after contacting both clubs.
