The transfer of Mohamed Abdel Aty, the Wadi Degla Club first soccer team midfielder, to Zamalek was suddenly stopped, after Al-Abyadh dismissed the deal, after he came close to moving to the White Castle during the last period summer transfer.
Mohamed Abdel Ati, the Wadi Degla star, revealed the real reason for the failure of his transfer to the Zamalek club, during televised remarks.
Abdel Ati acquitted the management of his club, Wadi Degla, of derailing the deal, stressing that it bears no responsibility, explaining that they tried to help as much as possible and did not exaggerate their financial requests.
He noted that negotiations were proceeding normally between the two clubs and that Ayman Yunus had agreed with the Tigris Valley officials on all the contractual details, explaining that the management of his club facilitated many matters, both material and otherwise.
He explained that Zamalek suddenly backtracked from its annexation and halted negotiations, noting that Ayman Yunus informed Tigris Valley officials that he would speak to them again to reach a formal agreement, but never did, and Zamalek suddenly announced that their agreements had stopped.
Abdel Atti highlighted that Zamalek was the only team that was interested in signing with him during the past summer transfer period, explaining that Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malik was leading the negotiations with him by virtue of the relationship between them.
