Barcelona announced the injury of its player Ousmane Dembélé during the Cádiz match on Saturday.
Barcelona reported that the French winger had a strain on his right back muscle.
This would be the ninth muscle injury that Dembélé has suffered since he arrived at Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that this type of injury usually keeps a player away from stadiums for a week or two, depending on the strength of the injury.
This removes Dembélé from his coach Ronald Koeman’s accounts against Juventus in the Champions League and Levante in the Spanish League, initially.
Dembélé had entered Barcelona as a substitute at halftime during the 1-2 loss to Cádiz, and continued the match until the end.
