Mohamed Morjan, Executive Director of the Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the team appreciates the presence of the Zamalek Club and all the clubs in the celebration of the “Century Club”.
“All matters are on the table, and we are arranging the theme of the celebration with the sponsoring company, which has been the senior partner of the Al-Ahly club for a month,” Morgan said in exclusive remarks to Lilacora.
He added: “The sponsoring company is in charge of organizing the celebration of the general league and currently the African Cup is with us, and due to the circumstances of the Coronavirus and precautionary measures, we have been arranging this celebration a month ago.”
“An initial date has been set for December 20 and the club is working out the arrangements with the sponsoring company, and we will see what is best in light of the current circumstances, but we are happy that everyone is with us.” Morjan added.
The CEO of Al-Ahly concluded his comments: “We receive congratulations from all the clubs and of course we are honored that all the clubs celebrate with us, not just Zamalek, after achieving our dream and winning the beloved African championship. “.
Notably, the Al-Ahly club won the CAF Champions League for the ninth time in its history at the expense of its traditional rival Zamalek, with two goals to one in the final match.
