After threatening to withdraw, Borkan Club, knows the fate of the African Super Party

Nahdet Borkan Club has sparked controversy in recent days, announcing its refusal to play the Super African match against Al-Ahly in Cairo.

The Moroccan club, Nahdet Berkane, “the champion of the Confederation competition”, is scheduled to face Al-Ahly, the champion of the African Champions League, during the current month of December in the Super African.

Al-Ahly crowned the African Champions League title, after beating Zamalek with two goals against last Friday, in the final match that united the two teams, at the Cairo International Stadium, where Amr Al-Soliya and Mohamed Magdy Qafsha scored Al-Ahly’s goals, while Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala scored the only goal for Zamalek.

The beginning of the crisis:

The African Football Confederation (CA) received an official letter from Nahdet Berkane al-Maghribi, earlier this week, objecting to the decision to establish the African Super Cup in Cairo.

The Moroccan team voiced their objection at the beginning of establishing the African Super Cup in Cairo, as the team competing for the title is from Egypt, and the Moroccan club’s Nahdet Berkane demanded that the match be moved out of Egypt.

Comments from CAF:

A source from the African Football Confederation (CAF) confirmed that a meeting will be held on December 10 to determine the date of the match.

The source indicated that the African Super Party will be held in Cairo, and there is no intention to transfer the party out of Egypt.

The rebirth of volcanoes is waning:

Ketabi Al-Hussein explained in televised statements, yesterday Thursday, that the reason for the accession of the Borkan Renaissance to the establishment of the African Super Cup outside Cairo is the conclusion of an agreement by the African Union, Qatar, to dispute the Super party in Doha.

My book added that Nahdet Berkane has not yet made any decision to inform the team about the Super Match in Cairo.

My book points out: “In the end, if CAF decides to establish the African Super Cup in Egypt, we will not refuse, but we are trying to help CAF develop football in Africa by implementing the agreement concluded in Qatar.”

Party destination:

The African Super Party will take place in Cairo according to the CAF decision, provided the date is set for December 10, and the Borkan Renaissance will naturally come to Egypt, as confirmed by my book Al-Hussein.
