President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received a phone call from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, tonight.

The Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the contact was about the exchange of opinions and the recognition of the developments of a series of regional issues of common interest, as well as some issues of bilateral cooperation relations between Egypt and the United States .

In this context, President Trump highlighted the value of the fruitful partnership and constructive cooperation between the United States and Egypt, and the critical importance of mutual understanding between the two countries to enhance security and stability in the Middle East region.

For his part, President El-Sisi expressed, during the call, his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts and contributions of President Trump to consolidate the extended friendship between the two countries, wishing all the best and prosperity to the United States of America and your friendly people.

The President also affirmed that Egypt will continue to make efforts aimed at strengthening the strategic relations between the two countries in the interests of the two friendly peoples, within a firm framework of common interests and mutual respect.
