Star Rania Youssef was absent from the opening ceremony of the 42nd Cairo Film Festival, as Rania’s absence is the first in years, due to her concern about filming the series “The Game 2” with artists Hisham Majed and Sheiko, which will soon be shown on a digital platform.
The series “The Game 2” was supervised by Fadi Abu Al-Saud, script and dialogue by Ahmed Saad Wali, Muhammad Salah Khattab and Ibrahim Saber, directed by Moataz Al-Tuni and starring Hisham Majed, Sheku, Mai Kassab, Ahmed Fathi, Muhammad Tharwat, Bayoumi Joulry Fouad and Mirifa, Abamnay.
The events revolve around “Wasim and Mazu”, the two classmates from his childhood who compete with each other in the form of an ongoing encounter with each other. The first part was in the month of Ramadan and was a popular hit at the time of its release.
The opening ceremony of the 42nd Cairo Film Festival was held yesterday, in the presence of a group of stars, media professionals and journalists, and stars Ahmed Helmy, Mona Zaki, Ahmed El-Sakka and his wife Maha Al-Saghir, Yousra, Menna Shalaby, Arwa Judeh and a large number of Stars, the festival headed by Mohamed Hefzy.
