The source stated: “We ruled out the transfer of the African Super Cup to neutral territory. The decision was approved by the Executive Committee and the Emergency Committee to hold the meeting in Egypt, and its transfer is very difficult now.”
Nahdet Borkan won the Confederacy at the expense of the Pyramids, while Al-Ahly won the African Champions League title at the expense of his eternal rival, Zamalek.
