The Zamalek club announced the inclusion of Amir Adel or Alexander Jakobsen, the Egyptian-Danish player, in a free signing.
Amir Adel joined Zamalek for 4 seasons, after finishing his experience with the Norwegian club Sarsburg.
The player formally signed the contracts within the framework of the football committee led by Ayman Yunus, Ashraf Qasim and Abdel Halim Ali to support the football team in preparing for the new season.
Jacobsen, at the age of 13, was known as “Ronaldinho from Denmark” and was famous nationally due to the circulation of a video showing his skills, so he moved from the Copenhagen Denmark youth team in 2011 to PSV Eindhoven.
Adel, 26, left the Norwegian club Sarpsburg last October and, in total, scored 20 goals in 168 games on a long journey through the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Adel represented the Egyptian national team in an international match that faced Togo in 2017 under the leadership of Argentine Héctor Cuper.
He also won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations for Youth under the leadership of Rabei Yassin, after being inducted into the Sunni ranks of Denmark’s national team.
Amir became Zamalek’s second contract for the new season, after Hamza Mathlouthi of Sfaxien Tunisia was included in a free transfer.
Muhammad Ashraf Rouqa and Hamid Haddad also returned from the loan.
