Zahi Hawass: The law does not allow filming “without clothes” … and the girl from Saqqara looks “ugly”

Dr. Zahi Hawass, a prominent archaeologist, said that those responsible for the Saqqara antiquities area would not have allowed the girl Salma El-Shimi, known as the “Girl of Saqqara”, to photograph this “ugly” scene, as she said. , in front of the pyramid, even if he had a photographic permit.

Hawass explained that the law allows taking pictures in front of the pyramid, but does not allow taking pictures “while you undress your clothes,” indicating that the girl’s eyesight was “ugly,” as he described it.

“Al-Shimi” had recently sparked controversy after he underwent a photo shoot in front of the Saqqara pyramid, sparking a stabbing attack by pioneers of social networking sites.

After “Al-Shimi” underwent the filming session, she was arrested, because she did not obtain a license to photograph, as filming in such archaeological areas requires obtaining a license, and was later released on a 500 pound bond.
