The Alexandria Civil Protection Forces recently recovered the body of a sixth woman named “Sumaya Muhammad Mustafa Abdel Majid”, 64, from under the rubble of Muharram Bey’s collapsed property.

The final death toll from the drug collapse reached, on Wednesday night, 6 dead, “3 men and 3 women”, and they are: Basant Mahmoud, 20 years old, Ahmed Magdy El Nimr, 28 years old, Majdi Al Nimr , 65, and Mahmoud Ahmed Abdel Aziz, 63, AND Heidi Muhammad Aliwa, 22.

The Alexandria Governorate Operations Room received a report indicating the collapse of real estate No. 16, Al-Firdous Street, opposite Menasha Street in Muharram Bey, and the Civil Protection Forces and 4 ambulances moved to the crash site.

And present at the scene of the accident were Major General Muhammad Al Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, his deputy, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Major General Sami Ghoneim, Alexandria Security Director, and Major General Khaled Jumaa, deputy secretary general of the governorate.

The inspection revealed that the property is an old inhabited building consisting of a ground floor and three upper floors, and since 2000, 3 restoration decisions were made that were not implemented by the neighbors.

The governor said preliminary information confirms the presence of two families of 9 people under the rubble, explaining that all the facilities, including gas, electricity and water, have been separated from the collapsed property.
