South African coach Pitso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly club, decided to team up for a match
Union of Alexandria.
Al-Ahly will play Alexandria Al-Ittihad, led by Hossam Hassan, tonight, Tuesday, in the semi-final round of the Egypt Cup.
In the event that Al-Ahly defeats Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, they will face in the final of the Egypt Cup on December 5 the winner of the Zamalek match against Tale’aa Al-Jaish, scheduled for the night of Tuesday.
Musimani will face Al-Ittihad of Alexandria in the Egypt Cup with most of the players who competed in the final of the African Champions League days before against Zamalek, but one change is to push Mahmoud Kahraba or Geraldo at the expense of the Nigerian player Junior Ajay.
Al-Ahly’s expected formation was as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El Shennawy
Defense line: Muhammad Hani, Yasser Ibrahim, Ayman Ashraf, Ali Maaloul.
Midfilders: Hamdi Fathy, Amr Al-Soulia, Afsha, Kahraba (Geraldo), Hussein Al-Shahat
Offensive line: Marwan Mohsen.
Al-Ahly had won the African Champions League a few days ago at the expense of Zamalek, after beating them in the final with two goals for one goal.
