El-Shenawi: Musimani treats us like his children | Lakora

Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al-Ahly goalkeeper, confirmed that since the arrival of South African Pitso Musimane to coach the team, things have become easier for all players.

Al-Shennawi said in television statements to the program ‘With you, Mona El-Shazly’, that Musimani knows very well the value of Al-Ahly, and when he arrived, he spoke with us and informed us that Al-Ahly’s name has its weight in Africa, and all the teams work for him a thousand accounts.

He added that the players urgently needed a conversation like the one Musimani said about Al-Ahly’s value in Africa in front of the players.

He continued: “Musimani is very close to everyone and treats the players like his children. He always tells us, ‘Enjoy football, and we’ve been following him since he was the coach of the Sundowns team.”

Regarding Fyler’s departure, he indicated that the Al-Ahly players felt that Fyler’s method had changed after the Corona crisis, and some things in his dealings with the players also changed.

He concluded his comments: “We felt a change in the Fyler deal, and some things stopped doing and some felt they wanted to leave, so management decided to leave and bring Musimani in to keep the team stable.”
