The security forces arrested the accused of intimidating the player of the Zamalek club Mahmoud Abdel-Razek “Shikabala” in Luxor.
The security services had directed the security agents against several of the perpetrators of the harassment of the Zamalek club player, at his place of residence.
The security monitoring monitored the broadcast of a video clip in which a group of fans appeared on the street carrying a black dog and chanted against “Shikabala.”
A security source from the Luxor Security Directorate said that as soon as the video emerged and the incident in Salah El-Din Luxor square was confirmed, an investigation team was formed under the supervision of Major General Essam Yassin, Minister Interior Deputy, Luxor Security Director, and under the leadership of Major General Tariq Yahya, Luxor Crime Investigation Director, and Brigadier General Aziz, Investigation Chief Ahmed Abdeliz. The management, Major Ahmed Jadu, head of the Luxor investigation, and all surveillance cameras were emptied from the shops and cafes surrounding the square. The source added that the identities of two young men were revealed, and it was discovered that they brought the dog to Salah El-Din square and raised him in a white t-shirt to intimidate the Zamalek club player.
